Funday and AGM 2019
This year our Annual Group Meeting (AGM) and Funday is hosted by Paccar, Chalfont Heights.
This event will start at 2pm and finish around 7pm.
There is a cost of £5 per person or £15 per family of 4, (this cost will cover the booking in fee, food and transport of equipment.)
All members and families of the 16th High Wycombe Group is invited.
We will be running out own activities and refreshments including a BBQ.
Rough guiline of the event:
14.00 event start, own activities that involves the whole group, for parents and others to join in.
17.00 AGM and a chance to ask about the group or give your opinions about the group, all is welcome
17.30 BBQ
18.15 Campfire, with the opportunity of roasting your marshmallows
All young persons that are in Sections will earn toward badges.
Please let our Leaders know if you intend to come and how many people are coming with you, please also tell us if you have any dietary requirements.
If you have any questions, please ask your leaders, you will point you in the right direction.
Ian’s Last Day at the 16th.
15th Feb was the last day for Ian at the 16th.
He join back in 2010 and has been a great, adventurous and successful role model for our current and past scouts, not only did he teach them essential skills, he shaped others around him too.
We, at the 16th, are all sad to see him go, but we are thankful for what he has done for the Group.

We are looking for an Assistant Scout Leader for our Scout Troop in High Wycombe. We are looking for someone who loves the outdoors, enjoys working with young people, who likes a challenge. Participate in activities you have never had the chance to do before. Enjoy the friendship of the Scouting Association. Plenty of outdoor activities from camping, climbing, orienteering, outdoor night games and hikes to construction projects in and outdoor.
